Best outfits from RTW FALL 2013

Since the past two weeks it's been all about F/W 2013 fashion shows i took the liberty to put together some of my personal favorite outfits that i saw on the runway. I was delighted to see that even for fall and winter almost all of the clothes had colors!! Especially fire red, dark and navy blue and yellow.

Also patterns, prints, leather and fur are a must for F/W 2013 as we will see from the following pictures!!

Upcoming fashion diversity project!!

Hello everyone!! Sorry I 've been away for about 1-2 weeks but homework just wouldn't let me go!! Patterndrafting my dress and the dress's technical, collages for illustration, projects for fundamentals..as you understand i got pretty stressed this week. Thank God study week is coming up so i can relax a bit for a couple a days and then start again projects. But what to do this is a fashionistas life in university. So to get you all caught up with the homework that Ryerson has been making me do i will be posting pictures of this semester so far assignments and projects!! Also i am thinking about starting my own little project here at the blog. I have been learning a lot about diversity in the fashion industry this semester so i am thinking every week on a specific day which i will announce in a couple days writing an article about differents topics of diversity in fashion and how we can change the worlds views and opinions about some things!!!

What is fashion?

Fashion is like a huge garden filled with all kinds of rare and  beautiful flowers and the more attractive it is the more people it appeals to.. Fashion is about making your own statement and showing your style and your ideas, fashion does not mean following trends but making your own.

Where did "original" street style bloggers go?

A topic that was talked about in my class this past Tuesday, Fashion Concept and Theories, was about street style bloggers and how much they influence people all over the world with their own personal style. That got me thinking and the past couple of years i've noticed that it is not so much anymore about their personality and style but which high-fashion brands they wear. I am tired of looking at fashion blogs where bloggers post pictures of their new Channel or Louis Vuitton purse, Prada coat and Jimmy Choo shoes!! Street style blogging is not that!! Showing how much money you can spend on a piece of clothing or accesory, going to fashion shows just so you can have your picture taken and not for actually seeing the fashion show. Street style had such a huge impact to everyone because people showed through their clothers their creativity, imagination and personality...

Dolce and Gabbana A/W 2012 - S/S 2013

BAROQUE ROMANTICISM

That was the theme for A/W 2012 collection from Dolce and Gabbana which followed S/S 2013 collection as well.

Baroque was a type of architecture in the 17th-18th century in Sicily, and that is what inspired the two designers. White, black, gold, nude and beige were the colors that the A/W collection had and in the S/S collection red, orange and navy blue were added. Black lace and gold embroideries played a major role in both A/W and S/S collections.
